Can you restore any dynamo?

Can you supply E3L dynamos without old core?
Yes. We do keep some of the most popular units on stock but supply is limited and cost £500.
Can you supply an E3L dynamo prior to receiving the old unit?
We do have a float of old core and we can usually supply the most popular models. When we have a high demand we can run out while we're waiting for customers old core to arrive. We will charge an extra £250 surcharge initially, which will be refunded on receipt of your old unit.
Can you supply dynamos for Rolls Royce, or similar, without old core?
No. We don't currently have spare old dynamo core for the early luxury type vehicles.
Can you supply dynamos for Austin 7s without old core?
No. We don't currently have enough Austin 7 old core to be able to offer this service
Can you restore Dynastarts
Yes, we've repaired many Lucas Dynastarts; as found on the Bullnose Morris.
Can you still repair the unit if the shaft is broken?
In most cases yes; we can make new shafts for the armature and replace it in the armature core pack.

How do I get my dynamo to you?

You can ask us to arrange to have your unit collected from your address. We will add the charge on your bill.
Can I discuss my dynamo in person?
Yes. We have a trade counter in our factory. Your dynamo will enter our repair control system and we will contact you the next working day with a quote for the repair.
How long will it take to get my dynamo?
We can usually supply a dynamo within five working days, although more complicated or rare models may take a little longer.
Can I pay by Cheque?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal and cash. We can accept a cheque but we cannot release the goods until the cheque has cleared.
Will you supply the trade?
Yes. We regularly supply trade customers.
Do you have the capacity to supply a regular or volume order?
Yes. We supply a number of OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) with both after-market and new coils.
